The best love stories always comes from friendships and 5 years before Paul met Ashley met at his friends restaurant, where she worked as a Sous Chef. Over the course of a year a friendship slowly blossomed between Paul and Ashley eventually blossoming into love.
Ashley and Paul planned a stunning garden themed wedding, filled with sweet details and heartfelt moments. They made for such a beautiful bride and groom and were so madly in love, it was a joy having the chance to photograph them and capture there first day as husband and wife.
The bridesmaids were all so happy to finally see Ashley in her wedding dressed, they couldn’t get over how gorgeous she looked.
The groomsmen were very relaxed and in no hurry to get ready. They were really enjoying their time together, playing pool and taking shots of fireball to commemorate Paul’s wedding.
Ashley and Paul opted to have a first look, and it’s obvious Paul was overwhelmed by how stunning his bride looked.
We wandered around downtown San Juan Capistrano to capture their portraits.
While Edith photographed the bridesmaids I had the chance to capture some portraits of the guys, they were having lots of fun working it for the camera.
Ashley walked the aisle down arm and arm with her dad, gleaming joyfully at Paul, who was just happy to see her.
They walked down the aisle officially as husband and wife to this gentleman’s sweet melodic voice singing Here Comes the Sun. It was such a sweet way to end a lovely ceremony.
The reception details was no less stunning than their ceremony. The abundance of soft pink florals, with light green foliage really made this a sweet romantic garden wedding. The coordinators and the Franciscan Gardens performed an impressive flip of the entire venue. While guests enjoyed cocktail hour off to the side, they turned the the entire ceremony space into the gorgeous reception.
The first dance has always been my favorite moments at weddings. There is just something magical about it, the world just goes still and quiet as the bride and groom enjoy of few minutes embraced in each others arms. This is one timeless wedding tradition I hope never goes away.
Ashley’s embraced her dad tightly as he was overcome with emotions during his speech.
After some amazing heartwarming speeches, and a sweet announcement by the bride and groom they were both ready to get the party started.
The night ended with guest, whisking them off with a sparkler exit.
Thank you Edith so much for letting me photograph this lovely wedding with you!
